Accomplishments

Despite family illnesses, last night we managed to:

–          Chop up more of the trees and limbs blocking the fence line in the back pasture
–          Clear out more of the cut logs into the piles for transport
–          Remove the entrance reducer from the hive
–          Get some supplemental food set up for the bees
–          Change out the chick watering system for something that’s easier on me

Tonight we’re hoping to do some more work.  I’m hoping to:

–          Get a first coat of paint on the new hive pieces
–          Chop up more of the trees and limbs in the back
–          Lay additional straw down for the chickens
–          Feed and water all of the poultry
–          Move the heat lamps up by a few inches
–          Find my ratchet set

We’ll see how it goes.
